No need to extract it. Just slipstream sp2 from microsoft using the instructions you linked to, then use the guide linked to from the download page to slipstream this update pack.
Xable,
But the file i Downloaded from you was a zip file? are you saying i need to slip stream the zip file without extracting it? I cant do this because when i try to add it using nlite, it only sees exe files?

Yes.

Your trying to add it in the wrong place, it`s not a service pack.. it`s an update pack. So you need to select it on the "Hotfixes, Addons and Update Packs" page.. select that option in nLite, it`s right under the Service Pack option which you selected.

....nothing...I got it...thanks...

Hi Xable,
I've found a problem with xppro-sp2 and your November pack installed with nLite 1.4 final.
Actually I haven't tested with previous versions of your pack so I can't tell if it just started happening or if it is a new issue.
Here's a qfecheck report right after installing Windows:

Can you give me some help understanding why KB923689 needs to be reinstalled?
TIA

Hi Eagle2, Glad you got it sorted.. whatever it was
Hi john, qfecheck has always flagged 923689 for re-install, it`s a known bug with the hotfix that`s documented in it`s KB article. It`s a false report and can be safely ignored, also after installing WMP qfecheck no longer flags it (probably due to 923689 `s "bad" cat file being superceeded.. )
Thanks for bringing it up though as it prompted me to check if microsoft fixed it yet, and, supprisingly they have. Microsoft have updated the cat file with the correct checksums. So no binarys have been updated, just the cat file.
I`ll add this update into the december pack.

Thanks for clearing it up .
Glad it's a false positive.
Good work.

Now a little more strange issue.
Here's another nlite.ini.
With this one qfecheck reports that there are NO updates found on my system.
I'm using exactly the same XP source CD and the exact same addon that I tried on previous occasions.
I thought that I had done something wrong, so I retried and I got the same result: No updates found on my system, only SP2 which had already been slipstreamed a long time ago.
Any ideas why this is not working?
Cheers

Never had that, I`ll try your ini and post results.

I guess I'm trying to remove too many things at once with this nlite setup and maybe that's why th XUD integration fails.
I wish I knew which setting brakes the integration.
This seems like a trial and error case with too many variables...
Hope you could shed some light on the subject.
Cheers

I remove all but a few things and never had this.
Just waiting for the VM to finish, depending on results we`ll go from there. Have a VM ready that has this issue.
