Hello Darren,
I'm going to try this anyway, but was hoping for your opinion.
Starting from a genuine XP Pro with SP3 CD copied onto my desktop,
Can I:
1. Use Windows Media Player 11 Slipstreamer by boooggy and n7Epsilon (to slipstream WMP 11 and all hotfixes)
2. Then use Nlite to slipstream Onepieces Internet Explorer 8 addon and THEN Xable Post SP3 update pack.
Will everything play nicely with each other and just work or will doing one cause problems with one of the others etc.
If it is worth trying, do I have the order right WMP11 then IE8 then Xable?
Cheers mate. I haven't used your pack since the old SP2 days (around 2007 I just checked). Time I did a clean install when I have to wait 6 minutes 32 seconds until the desktop appears.
PS, do you know of any pack similar to yours that can be used with VLite starting from a Vista SP2 DVD? I can't find one anywhere. I think Mr Ryan started one ages ago but it isn't up to date.
If you ever make one for Vista or Win7 I will send you a bottle of wine from Australia :-)
Cheers,
Paul.

Hi Paul, damn I would say it's about time for a reinstall too. Welcome back
Update pack always comes first, I don't see any reason for the order of the rest to matter.
No idea how it will all work together as never tried it. Let me know how you get on though.

Hi Darren,
Finally got it to work.
Would have been quicker if your pack had IE8 / WMP11 already in it - But acknowledge that has all been asked and answered by you many times already :-)
Thanks again for a really great product.
Cheers,
Paul.

I have made an addon for internet exploer 8 and I have tested with 32bit version of Windows XP SP3 professional works fine. I havn't tested with windows XP n edition (or k or kn editions) and I don't think it will work with such editions. The addon I created is not the same xable which is more advance than I created it. I used the command prompt installer i.e. IE8-WindowsXP-x86-ENU.exe /passive /update-no /norestart while creating the addon. That I hope you could do it by yourself if not you can find it from Internet Exploer 8 for Windows XP professional or Internet Exploer 8 for Windows XP professional . You can also find Firefox 4 RC2 British English or via Firefox 4 RC2 British English. I hope this helps, if not please let me know. Thanks in advance.
