How to translate the package?

Hello guys,

Xable told me you might help out telling me how to do a proper translate for the update package!
He says just copy and paste, but the question is, which files should be replaced? And where do I get these files from?

Thank you in advance.

Re: How to translate the package?

1. download xable's update pack
2. unpack it
3. open entries.ini & XUDPack.inf with favourite text editor ( not ms word etc, i prefer crimson/rj textedit)
4. get hotfixes for your language
...
this is one way to start "translating", i think you have to just figure rest of this out by yourself.

To explain in detail from scratch will take pages and pages of writing.

First of all you need to know how the pack works. If you don't already then that is a good place to start.

Would you please try?
It would be nice to have your package in Arabic and Russian.

That is a big ask, I would be writing for days to first explain how to build a pack and then how to translate it.

Do some leg work yourself first, download my pack, extract it and ask qeustions about the stuff you don't understand. Then I can help you.

Thank you for following up.
Well, I've downloaded the packs and studied it. Some how know how it works.
The question is, how, or where to get the Arabic and Russian version of files to replace them in the package?

Re: How to translate the package?

Download them from microsofts download centre and extract them with serebys hotfix extractor, or from the command line:

WindowsXP-KB2347290-x86-ENU.exe /q /x:WindowsXP-KB2347290-x86-ENU\
