MS may of released a newer version to address these false positives, WGAN is always updated before WGAV so it`s not a certainty.

Thanks malligan, so it didn` t install the recently released version then, not supprising but thanks for confirming.

I`ll update to the latest version and revert back to 1.7.69.2 if you find it to be buggy.

My genuine copy of xp also got the message it wasnt genuine.
But could you update WGAN and WGAV to v1.9.0040.0.
Then i will check it out again with VMWare.
