How to remove a added program.

Hello Everyone.
Can you tell me pls how can i remove a addon that i add on my windows xp cd with nlite but now i dont need it enymore and i want to clean up abit my windows installation cd. I dont know how to do it or if it is possible.

Hello Partalakos, it`s possible and depending on what addon it is it may be easyer and quicker to just remake the cd.

Thanks for your replay xable.
My true problem is that i cant copy anymore my original cd cause it is destroyed and i cant read nothing from it. i create 1 cd before 1 year and now i just want to remove unwanted programs and add new one. But i dont know what file nlite change. Can you explain me pls what is the file that nlite change or its not only one file ? I want to remove for Adobe acrobat reader 7 etc..
I want to remove the installation during windows setup.

You can probably get a replacement cd from microsoft.

The 3 main file`s to edit are DOSNET.INF, TXTSETUP.SIF and sysoc.inf. You need to look at the addon and undo the changes it makes in these files, depending on what addon it is there maybe other files you need to edit and there maybe files which have been overwritten which you`ll need to replace with the origionals, something you can`t do because your origional cd is unreadable.

That`s as specific as I can be without looking at the addons you wish to remove.
