hi xable, should I integrate all of your update pack releases or just use your latest update pack? I'm having problem when integrating your august update pack over SP3+July update pack, which also I have integrated wmp11 and IE7 in it. If it's upgradeable can i integrate all of your update packs altogether with nlite? Thanks

If you have a previous pack integrated then you can integrate the latest one over the top of it (unless otherwise stated in the release notes)
You only need the latest release though as their all cumulative, like service packs. In fact only the current release is available for download, I don`t keep previous packs online to download as it`s pointless.
Hope that helps.

Thank you, it seems the trouble is from nlite after i reinstalled nlite everything works fine.

Hello Xable. I am having a bit of an issue with the current update pack. Every time I have used it, I get a message during the final stage of installation, like in this picture:
Do you have any idea about what this might be ? The integration has been done on a clean XP Pro SP3 with nlite, both 1.4.8 and 1.4.9 with same results.

Hello Vially, that`s an autoit script that does a bit of cleaning up post install. I`m not aware of it having any dependances but it looks like there may be some. That`s the trouble with ripping windows apart, you find you need some of it after all
Did you remove 16-bit support? If so that`s probably it, otherwise send me your *.ini file and I`ll try to figure out what the dependancy is.

Hi and thanks for taking the time to respond. The funny thing is that I am not touching anything else in nlite, besides the update pack and bootable ISO. No components are removed or added. On the other hand, The hdd might have been formatted with 16-bit support disabled in ntfs, so this might be the culprit.

Not sure what you mean by that. Are you talking about disableing 8.3 filename creation?
Offline
Yes, that is what I meant, sorry for not being too coherent. However, it's not true, 8.3 filename creation was enabled at the time of format. Who knows..
Don't stress too much over this anyway, as I am especially using this installation to run Windows from an USB drive. I am sure there are not too many people running and installing it this way

I would rather know what`s causing this.
Paste your ini and any other details I need to know to be able to reproduce this error.
