Re: SP3 Update Pack v2.0.3 - Released 14/09/2010

Hi!
Last week I created a new up-to-date Windows XP installation disc using nLite and your latest pack. After installing on a virtual machine, I discovered that update KB981793 was listed under windows software updates in Add/Remove Programs..

I also created another nLited disc integrating the actual KBs provided by MS. There three updates appeared (KB898461, KB981793 and KB980195).

My question is if this is a normal behaviour (listed KBs) and, if there is an easy answer, why is this happening.

Thanks in advance!

Well it's simple really, 981793 isn't slipstreamed, do a search for why I've explained it before. and MS are offering updates in two stages now, just to be awkward I suppose. They usually switch to this behaviour with OS's/SP's they wish to phase out.

Maher, try the translation section, they can help you. Basically you just take my pack and replace the english versions of the included updates with those from your desired language. It's mostly copy/paste.

Nobody's answering there!
Would you please explain a little bit how to properly translate the package?

A quick question... Why did you decide not to include WGA in your pack? Was it because many users complained about it, or maybe because it isn't available in all countries?

And BTW... I'm very happy you didn't. big_smile

Choice.. I mean, to give you choice smile Both WGAV and WGAN are offered over MU but only one of them is needed to access MU. So I left them out and made them into seperate addons. You can then choose what you want.

I'm glad your happy with the choice big_smile
