I wouldn't usually ask, but I could really do with some more cash at the moment (couldn't we all) if you find my work usefull please feel free to make a donation, any amount will help and will be much appreciated. Thank you.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. If not before, I'll see you on the 11th ;)
Hi xable,
Thanks again for your work, it has been much appreciated over the years.
I have a script that totally automates building my XP install DVD -- it uses nlite for tweaks, and RVM_Integrator for the addons. It is this way because nlite isn't as batch friendly with addons and update packs.
I was wondering if you knew what would be different integrating your update pack with RVM_Integrator ... i've had a go and it seemed to go OK ... FYI i used RVM-I to integrate your v26 pack by itself on an original SP3 source .... thanks for any info.

Hi Sop,
The RVMI doesn't add a registry entrie for a security update and it doesn't compress files added to the ISO which didn't already exist on the ISO.
nLite has command line options and so can be fully automated, run nlite /? for the details.
Hope that helps.

Hi xable,
Thanks for the reply, it was useful. I probably would have assumed everything went OK without it!
I knew about the switches, the problem is that when preparing the INI file for nlite, all updates and addons have hard-coded paths. I want to end up releasing my project and this means i have to work around this. I should be able to crack it using AutoIT, i was just being lazy
Thanks for your prompt reply. All the best...
Sop.
EDIT: it was relatively easy in the end, i just add the path to the end of a pre-prepared preset. I'll let you know about the project if i ever end up releasing it. Thanks again for your help!

No problem, though I hope your not distributing my update pack or automating the download...
