Hi all..
Can i ask noob question about WGAN n WGAV? Sorry..got headache already..
1. Whats the different between this two?
2. Is it this two addons cause "Activate Windows - starfish logo" at taskbar appear after slipstreamed it?
3. Or SP3 Update Pack v1.0.23 that cause the "Activate Windows - starfish logo"?
4. What cause "Activate Windows - starfish logo"?
5. Windows File Protection pop-up annoying me..how to disable it?
I'm using nlite lastest version to slipstream:
1st slipstream:
1. SP3 Update Pack v1.0.23
2. xable_MicrosoftUpdateEngine-v1.6_addon
3. xable_OUE-OGA-v1.8_addon
4. xable_WGAN-v1.6_addon
Then close nlite..
2nd slipstream:
1. OnePiece_IE8_WinXPSP3_v1.6.0_AddOn_ENU
2. onepiece_repair_ie8_cosmetic_problems_addon
3. OnePiece_Windows_Media_Player_11_True_AddOn_v1.9.0_ENU
4. OnePiece_Microsoft_Silverlight_v3.0.40818.0_AddOn_ENU
Close nlite again..
3rd slipstream:
1. DotNetFx_All_In_1_Addon_v2.4

hi mywinzip! do you have a legit windows os? for your inquiries, a little search would've answered it rightaway:
Windows Genuine Advantage Validation v1.9.40.0 (WGAV) must be installed to access WU/MU but doesn`t need installing if you installed WGAN.
Windows Update Engine must be installed before being able to access windows update.
Microsoft Update Engine must be installed before being able to access microsoft update.
as for your other qs, those would be better answered in the appropriate nlite forum... cheers!
