SP2 Update Pack v3.0.29 - Released 09/02/2010

Microsoft is ending support for Service Pack 2 on the 13th July 2010. So, I've decided the time has come to retire my SP2 pack. I will continue to maintain my SP3 pack for as long as I can. To use my SP3 pack, first slipstream SP3 and then my SP3 Update Pack using nLite.

Here's my Light High Priority Update Pack. All optional registry entries are omitted and most update's which appear on microsoft update (read the contents for full details) are included. Any updates left out of the main pack may be found as a seperate addon.

Hi Xable,

please continue with updating Your Update Packs for SP2. They are the only means for an English Windows XP distribution to get a slight and 'stable' update before connecting to the internet.

Although I can fully understand You wanting to only work on one UDP let me tell You how glad I was after I looked for over a week to find a way to update a fresh Windows installation not wanting to connect to the internet and not wanting to use SP3 as some peope have reservations with that. So I integrated Your pack with nLite and U know the rest of the story... ;-)

Autopatcher.com offers only updates for Post-SP3 and if you want to install the bare minimum necessary then Your site is the one to go to.

tolerate for my impoliteness please but i hope you would continue update the post-sp2 pack.

we've just been using 7pro for several weeks. first my girlfriend then later me, we both couldnt stand it. Going to switch back to xp next week. hope to see you help us out a bit here with post-sp2 updates. we came across several problems on our lappies with sp3 before, so we decided to stay with sp2.

dphieu, I will update it for you.. it's 3 months out of date though so it'll take a while. Will try to get it out at the same time as my SP3 pack but no promises.
