Hi there. First of all thank you for taking the time to build this complete pack of post-SP3 updates.
I'm just writing to see if there's someone else who is experiencing this problem I have.
Compared to a clean Win XP SP3 without the "XUpdatePack-SP3-v1.0.22.7z" pack, a clean install with the pack successfully slipstreamed using the latest nLite takes its precious time in the shutdown process. I tried tweaking the "AutoEndTasks", "HungAppTimeout" & "WaitToKillAppTimeout" in the registry, but it remains the same.
Please tell me your experience.

Hi! I used this ini for both installs, the only difference is adding the pack in the Hotfixes section. The problem must be a service or some services that slow down the shutdown process, but I can't figure it out. I also tried tweaking the 3 "WaitToKillServiceTimeout" keys in the registry.

Your editing a lot there, start with a clean source and add just my update pack with no tweaks or removing components. Test. Then apply some tweaks/remove stuff. Test. Do this untill you find what your editing causes the slow shutdown.

I did not have time to try clean source + update pack only but Im also experiencing very slow shutdown with my nlited copy with your latest update pack.
Still there might be a chance we all triggered something in nlite that with combination with update pack can cause this.

The pack doesn't cause slow shutdown, it's something else. If you can't be bothered to try then you'll not find out what it is.
It's pointless coming here and reporting slow shutdown when you have not ruled out all your other customisations.
