Does the latest SP3 UDP contain an AMD CPU fix? Can I use it in an XP installation disk (created with nLite) on my new, no-OS AMD machine, or do I still have to install SP2, THEN a fix, THEN SP3?

No offense, but the first reply is about as helpful as a screen door on a submarine.
I've already read the "XP SP3 Update Pack Contents page" and didn't find the info I needed...that's why I came to the forums.
According to Microsoft:
If you have an AMD processor and are considering upgrading to Windows Service Pack 3 (SP3), then it is important that you apply this patch (WindowsXP-KB953356-x86-ENU.exe) before SP3. Otherwise, your system may possibly get stuck in a loop of reboots that will stop Windows XP from starting.
Simple question...will the SP3 UDP work on my AMD machine? If you don't know, then don't reply with smartass answers, like "Here's what's in it....you figure it out."

You didn`t give the KB number, so I presumed you knew which one you needed and pointed you to the contents list. It was not intended as a smartass comment, I`m sorry you took it that way.
Being rude when you don`t get the help that you seem to think your owed is not the way to get any help from me. To show no hard feelings though, this time, I will.
Now that you`ve provided the KB number I can help you further, that fix doesn`t apply if your installing from CD, so yes my SP3 UDP will work on an AMD machine.
