I did a build with XUpdatePack-SP3-v1.0.21.7z
MU lists KB973346 ActiveX Killbits as a high priority update.
Qfe Check says it is not installed.

I just did a build and cannot reproduce that.
973346 was added back in july.
qfecheck shouldn`t detect it because it doesn`t update any binarys, so that`s normal.

Are you editing your build other than adding my UDP? If so try with just my UDP.

Re: SP3 Update Pack v2.0.3 - Released 14/09/2010

I did a build using only the following components. The integration was done with RVM_Integrator_1.6.1b2.
Microsoft has been known to get things wrong.

  XUpdatePack-SP3-v1.0.21.7z
  xable_MicrosoftUpdateEngine-v1.5_addon.cab
  xable_WGAN-v1.6_addon.cab

There`s your problem, the integrator. Use nLite and you`ll be fine.

Been using your updatepacks for more than a year and recommend them to everyone!
(or i just give them an updated copy if it's too difficult for them).
Thanks for the great work!

Re: SP3 Update Pack v2.0.3 - Released 14/09/2010

I just did a build with the latest pack. After I did the install, I still had to grab the following updates from Windows Update. Please help me understand what I need to do to further minimize the number of additional updates that have to be applied.

KP892130
KB974455
KB973525
KB905474
KB931125
KB951847
KB909520
KB943729

Please indulge me. I still don't understand how to integrate WPM11 and .NET 1.1.

And finally, -X- said on MSFN:

To copy a folder over use the $OEM$ folder.

In your unattended section, add this line.
[Unattended]
OemPreinstall="Yes"

Create a folder called $OEM$ parallel to i386.
Inside $OEM$, create another folder named $1.
Inside $1, create the folder you want copied over.

It will wind up in C:\<folder name> if C:\ is where you installed Windows.

Where is the "Unattended" section that I need to modify?

Thanks!

Those are either optional updates or updates left out of the pack so that you can choose which to use as addons.

If you would like help customising your UA CD further you'll have to make a new thread in the general section.
