Hi Les,
I know exactly what that is. 944043 is looking for the migration data, update packs don't install migration data by design.
Let me explain, when you install an update it makes a copy of itself in a hidden folder at WINDOWS\$hf_mig$. Very rarely an update will need to referance this backup of installed updates to make sure it doesn't install an older or incompatable version of a file. If this backup is missing the update will not install, as you have seen.
Now, update packs could install this backup but that would add a huge size to the package aswell as the install, like several hundreds of MB. It's not practical and negates one on the major reasons for using an update pack in the first place, just to satisfy a very rare event (this is the first report in my update packs 4.5 year history).
Reinstalling those updates will recreate the backups and allow you to install 944043.
Hope that helps.
Darren

Thank you for wonderful work! I really like you updates. Will wait for next one and then reinstall system (done some mayor hardware upgrades, so reinstall would be nice).
Keep on good work.

Also thank you for your work. I really love your pack for many reasons. Hope the project will continue.

Thanks pcigre and RicaNeaga, I'm glad you like it.
Sorry for the delay everyone, been busy and decided to rebuild the pack so I've been doing a bit each day when I can.
v2.0.0 is now ready and online, I've removed the superseded updates and will be on the lookout for them from now on.
Being a rebuild it's not upgradeable but 2.0.1 and onwards will be.
MS might release an out-of-band update this month to address the recently reported vulnerability so expect another release if they do.
Please let me know how you get on with the new pack and feel free to make a donation if you like, purely optional of course but it would be a big help.
Enjoy

No problem whatsoever slipstreaming it with nlite. Also after installation everything seems very stable. Thank you!
Regarding donations, I won't be able to make one in the near future, but after my income will be more certain, so will be the well-deserved donation (this is also the case of Onepiece and yumeyao).
Also, I'll be making a detailed guide for nlite in which your pack is the ,,main event", and I'll provide direct links in the article so that any reader would be able to make a donation... hope it helps.

RicaNeaga, I am actually working on a site update which will include the return of the slipstream guide. It's just a basic one though showing how to slipstream my pack. Your guide sounds like it'll be a lot more comprehensive and I hope it helps too.
singlex, Thanks for the confirmation.
