Good morning, I am blind and use screen reading software JAWS. I have tried to track down a funny problem I've been getting. When I push 'or "i hear with my speech "acute or shift acute slash sedilla." also the `key says grave. My settings in jaws is suppose to stop all keyboard echo from speaking. When I took this update pack out it didnt happen. Is there anything in it that cuold be causing this to happen. I can send my ini file for you to inspect if you wish. THanks

Also did you try integrating just the update pack into a clean source and doing nothing else. Removing a component may cause any part of the OS not to function.

I can try to do that, previously when I removed this addin trying to find a package it stopped. Not to say that it is defenantly this though. You asked about what does this mea". When I type an 'or a " on my keybaord. My speech that reads text out actually says some strange characters. The way I have the speech configured I should not hear any audio output when typing. Hope that is clearer.

Thanks fudge I see what your saying now.

Unfortunatly I can`t reproduce it here, I used JAWS 9.0.2169 and disabled text speech using the wizard. Characters " and ' weren`t sounded or sounded wrongly.

If all your doing is slipstreaming my pack into a clean untoutched xp source and installing JAWS this behaviour can only be because of a bug in JAWS. You might want to contact the makers and see what they say.
