PSU blew up

My PSU blew up so I won't be able to update my SP3 pack tomorrow sad

Not even sure if it took out the whole PC with it yet! Will have to wait untill the PSU comes back of RMA. Fingers crossed...

RMA could take a long time. :(

What did you have in there?

Re: PSU blew up

Corsair are apparently pretty quick, once it's delivered to them it takes a few days to process then they ship it back.

I've got a courier picking it up tomorrow, so should have it back by the middle of next week hopefully.

What did I have in there? A Corsair HX520, see if you can spot it tongue

I only upgraded the MOBO/CPU/RAM 5 months ago from a Socket A system I had used for 8 years.

Re: PSU blew up

soporific, I have edited your post to remove the piracy related stuff. I do not condone piracy and don't want me or my update packs associated with it.

Re: PSU blew up

Sorry to put a halt on your plans RicaNeaga, I'm not enjoying it either.

Corsair received my PSU on monday and I got this email update yesterday..

Please note we are currently experiencing delays with warranty replacement shipments, please allow for an additional 5 business days for processing.

So it could be tuesday before a replacement is sent sad

Whenever it finaly gets here, I will definitely be buying a backup PSU as soon as I can afford it, it's killing me not haveing a PC.
